Sundargarh: In a brazen robbery, eight masked men, armed with rifles and knives, stormed the Tarini Carrier transport office in Koida’s Rengalbeda area late Wednesday night and made off with approximately Rs 3.5 lakh in cash.
According to reports, the miscreants allegedly smashed computers and CCTV cameras before escaping with a hard disk.
The incident occurred despite the office being located in a high-security area, with the Koida police station nearby. The office staff alerted the police, who launched an investigation.
