Bhubaneswar: To manage the extra rush of passengers and ensure greater travel comfort, Indian Railways has temporarily augmented coaches in three important trains.
For the Santragachi–Yesvantpur Special (Train No. 02863), one additional AC 3-Tier coach will be attached on 27 November 2025.
In the Howrah–Puri Express (Train No. 12837), one Sleeper coach has been augmented from 23 November to 28 November 2025, providing extra accommodation during the high-demand period.
Similarly, the Rourkela–Bhubaneswar Intercity (Train No. 22839) has been augmented with one General coach on 22 November 2025 to facilitate more passengers.
East Coast Railway remains committed to enhancing passenger convenience by introducing additional coaches wherever required and ensuring smoother travel during peak seasons. Passengers may plan their journeys accordingly and avail the enhanced facilities.
