Bhubaneswar: A stone-throwing incident damaged the Rourkela-Howrah Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20872) on Sunday, shattering a window near seat number 23 in coach C-13.
According to reports, the train had just departed from Rourkela station en route to Howrah when the incident occurred. A passenger informed the train authorities, who then alerted the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Tatanagar station. RPF Assistant Sub-Inspector R. Rai reported the incident to the railway administration, but the perpetrator remains unidentified.
The railway administration has launched an investigation into the incident.
