Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Pavilion has won the top award at the 44th India International Trade Fair 2025, held at the Bharat Mandapam complex in New Delhi. The pavilion, themed ‘Ek Bharat, Sresth Bharat’, showcased the state’s rich heritage, cultural art, and commitment to development.
The pavilion featured various agricultural products, handlooms, handicrafts, and items made by self-help groups, highlighting Odisha’s progress and modernity while preserving its culture and tradition. Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida inaugurated the pavilion on November 14, and it was visited by several dignitaries, including Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, ministers, and business leaders.
On various days, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Minister for Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare and Science and Technology Krushna Chandra Patra, Minister for Industries and Commerce of Tripura Santana Chakma, Additional Secretary of Manipur Anurag Bajpayee, former cricketer and West Bengal MP from Baharampur Yusuf Pathan, Aska MP Anita Subhadarshini, Balasore MP Pratap Sarangi, Rajya Sabha MP Sujit Kumar, former Rajya Sabha MP Amar Patnaik, along with prominent business organizations and eminent personalities from all over the country visited the Odisha Pavillion. On November 22, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended the Odisha Divas as the chief guest.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the Odisha Pavilion has received the best performance award, a testament to the state’s efforts to promote its culture, products, and development initiatives. The award ceremony will take place tomorrow at 4:30 pm, and the Odisha team is elated with the recognition.
The Information and Public Relations Department organised the Odisha Pavilion, showcasing the state’s vision for a developed Odisha by 2036. The award is a reflection of the state’s commitment to excellence and its people-centric approach to development.
