Bhubaneswar: Nandankanan Zoological Park is set to receive 19 new animals from Gujarat’s Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Zoological Garden in Surat ahead of the tourist season.
According to reports, the animals, belonging to four species, are expected to arrive by December 10. A team from Nandankanan Zoo is preparing to travel to Gujarat to bring back the new animals, following approval from the Central Zoo Authority.
In exchange, Nandanknan will send 14 animals of five species to Gujarat.
