Acting on a tip-off, the Khandagiri Police team, led by IIC Abhimanyu Das, raided the AIIMS Road area near the Maa Bhuasuni Temple and Cashew Forest. The accused were intercepted while allegedly dealing in brown sugar.
“All the accused have prior criminal records. Arun Patra and Jagannath Sahoo are linked to NDPS cases, while Dasharathi Dalai has a previous robbery conviction. The seized contraband weighs 20 grams, and two motorcycles used in the operation have also been confiscated. All four will be forwarded to court today,” said Bhubaneswar Sub-Division III ACP Tapas Ch. Pradhan while briefing the media.
