Five Poachers Arrested In Kuldiha Sanctuary, Weapons Seized

Bhubaneswar: A team of the forest department, led by ACF Subrata Kumar Behera, conducted a surprise raid at the Kuldiha sanctuary, arresting five poachers and seizing a large quantity of weapons.

The arrested poachers, identified as Nirmal Singh, Chintamani Singh, Shyam Singh, Brajkishore Singh, and Harimohan Singh, were found with two country-made guns, ammunition, and other hunting equipment.

The poachers, hailing from Khuliyagram under Nilagiri police station, were arrested under Section 51 of the Wildlife Act. The forest department has registered a case and will forward the accused to court.
