Bhubaneswar: Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will run special Ama Bus service for the India vs South Africa T20 International Cricket Match scheduled on 9th December, 2025 at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack to ensure smooth and efficient movement of spectators.
Necessary transport arrangements have been made, with shuttle operations being dynamically managed based on real-time traffic conditions around Cuttack Railway Station, CNBT and Barabati Stadium vicinity.
Pre-match shuttle services will commence from Cuttack Railway Station starting at 4:00 PM, while post-match shuttles will operate from Barabati Stadium depending on prevailing traffic flow.
The primary shuttle route from Barabati Stadium to Cuttack Railway Station will follow the corridor via GadgadiaGhata, ChahataGhata, Satichoura, Judicial Academy Square, CNBT, Badambadi Square, Link Road Square and OMP Square, with a flat fare of Rs.20.
To support spectators travelling to and from Bhubaneswar, CRUT will operate two temporary special post-match routes. Route 01 from Barabati Stadium to BSABT, Baramunda will run via Judicial Academy Square, Nandankanan, and Jaydev Vihar while Route 02 from Barabati Stadium to Bhubaneswar Railway Station will operate via CNBT, Link Road, and NH. Both routes will charge a flat fare of Rs 40 and run at a 20-minute frequency.
In addition to these special services, existing Ama Bus routes will continue to provide connectivity between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, covering major transit points such as CNBT, Judicial Academy Square, Barabati Stadium, and Cuttack Railway Station. These include Route 10 (MANU University to BBI Airport), Route 15 (CNBT to Utkal Hospital), Route 16 (Sri Sri University to Bhubaneswar Railway Station), Route 17 (Barabati Stadium to BBI Airport), Route 18 (Jagatpur Square to BSABT Baramunda), Route 19 (Mahanadi Vihar to AIIMS), and Route 82 (SCB Medical to BBI Airport).
Intra-Cuttack district connectivity will also be supported through Route 81 (Barabati Stadium to Salepur), Route 86 (ChahataGhata to Cuttack Railway Station), and Route 88 (NLU to SCB Medical via Judicial Square, CNBT, and Dolamundai).
