Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Kennel Club’s Dog Show Championship, held on the premises of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), kicked off today with a bang.
The event featured a special display of German Shepherds by ‘The German Shepherd Dog Confederation (Kalinga Chapter)’.
According to reports, Vice-Chancellor of OUAT Professor Pravat Kumar Roul inaugurated the display, with Josen Pral, a judge from Germany, in attendance. A whopping 83 German Shepherds from 8 states, including Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, and West Bengal, showcased their skills. Some of these majestic canines came with a hefty price tag of Rs 30-35 lakh.
The Dog Show Championship will run until March 21. Odisha Kennel Club President Subrata Prusty and Secretary Siddhanath Mohanty invite all dog lovers to witness this spectacular event.
