Bhubaneswar: SAI International School, one of India’s leading institutions, successfully hosted SAI Confluence 2025, an inspiring cultural and thought-leadership evening themed ‘Udaan@100 India Rising’ today, commemorating India’s journey toward 100 years of independence, to be celebrated in 2047. The confluence brought together students, parents, educators, and distinguished guests to reflect on India’s past, celebrate its present, and envision its future.
The programme commenced with a grand symphony, followed by a solemn invocation dance, setting a spiritually uplifting and patriotic tone for the evening. These performances were presented by students across multiple classes.
This was followed by a formal welcome by Dr. Silpi Sahoo, Chairperson, SAI International Education Group, which set the tone for an evening anchored in pride, values, and national consciousness.
In her address, Dr. Silpi Sahoo highlighted the transformative role of education in nation-building, stating, “‘Udaan@100 India Rising’ is not merely a celebration of India’s journey, but a powerful reminder of the responsibility our children shoulder as torchbearers of the nation’s future. Education today must go beyond academics to shape responsible, empathetic, and future-ready citizens. At SAI, we believe in a holistic approach that instills pride in our heritage, encourages critical thinking, nurtures emotional intelligence, and fosters compassion to lead. Through platforms like SAI Confluence, we strive to develop globally competent yet deeply rooted individuals who will shape India@2047 with integrity, innovation, and purpose.”
The event also featured the Holistic Parenting Award Presentation, honoring parents as vital partners in shaping balanced, value-driven individuals and recognising their role in nurturing well-rounded personalities grounded in values.
