Bhubaneswar: The Press Information Bureau (PIB), Bhubaneswar, organised a Regional Media Workshop “Vartalap” at Phulbani, focusing on VB-G RAM G 2025 and strengthening government-media collaboration for effective grassroots communication under Viksit Bharat @2047.
Akhil Kumar Mishra, Additional Director General, PIB & CBC, emphasised the PIB’s primary objective of promoting engaged grassroots communication and ensuring government policies reach the people. He highlighted the crucial role of regional media in carrying the message of development to the last mile.
Rashmi Ranjan Maharana, Additional Director, Agriculture Department, briefed participants on key schemes like PM Fasal Bima Yojana, PM-KISAN, and Soil Health Card. Birupakshya Tripathy, Executive Editor, Pragativadi, discussed the VB-G RAM G Scheme and the significance of 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’.
Gadadhar Patra, Project Administrator, ITDA, emphasised the importance of tribal community development, while Sambhunath Nandi, Chief Development Officer, highlighted government priorities for tribal welfare.
The workshop provided a platform for journalists to engage with officials and discuss key issues.
