Bhubaneswar: Music director Abhijit Majumdar, currently undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), is likely to be discharged in a day or two.
Dr Ashutosh Biswas, Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, confirmed that Majumdar is out of danger and his health has improved.
According to reports, Majumdar was admitted to the hospital on September 4 with neurological problems, which led to multiple organ failure. He was subsequently shifted to the ICU. However, he is now recovering, and his organs are functioning normally.
A prolific music director, Majumdar has worked on over 50 films, composing music and singing songs for many of them. He made his debut with the film ‘Kashia Kapila’ in 2000.
