Bhubaneswar: In a grand ceremony held at R.K. Padhi Memorial Hall, State Director General of Police YB Khurania honored 46 police officers and employees with the DGP Medal for their exceptional service, dedication, and outstanding performance.
The medal recipients included IG (Central Region) Dr. Satyajit Nayak, Rayagada SP Swathi S. Kumar, Kalahandi SP Nagaraj Devarakonda, Jharsuguda SP Gundala Reddy Raghavendra, Kandhamal SP Harish B.C., Gajapati SP Jatindra Kumar Panda, and Commandant Praful Kumar Singh, among others.
DGP Khurania presented the medals and certificates to the awardees, recognizing their contributions to law enforcement. Senior police officers, including Director General of Police (Crime Branch) Binaytosh Mishra and Director (Intelligence) R.P. Koche, attended the ceremony, which was overseen by Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Prateek Mohanty.
