Cuttack: In a tragic incident, a 52-year-old man died in an explosion that took place at a residence where crackers were being made at Hatigada near Khalarda under Cuttack Sadar Police station in Cuttack district on Sunday.
The blast, which happened at Baikuntha Samal’s home, damaged the asbestos roof and claimed the life Sures Bhoi.
On being informed, fire service personnel from Baranga rushed to the scene, extinguished the fire, and recovered the body, handing it over to local police for further action.
