Bhubaneswar: The state’s maximum temperature continued its upward trend, with 19 places recording mercury levels above 30°C, according to India Meteorological Department.
Jharsuguda and Paradip topped the chart with 31.4°C, while Bhubaneswar recorded a maximum temperature of 32.3°C. Other places like Gopalpur, Puri, Sambalpur, Bolangir, and Sundergarh also witnessed temperatures above 30°C.
However, nights continue to be chilly across the state. The IMD predicts dry weather in the next 24 hours, with shallow to moderate fog expected in parts of Puri, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, and Kandhamal districts
