Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Anu Garg chaired a meeting to review the implementation of ongoing Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) initiatives, including District Business, including District Business Reform Action Plan 2025, BRAP 2026, and Deregulation Phase II.
The meeting, attended by 24 departments, emphasized strengthening the investment climate and promoting sustainable economic growth.
The state government aims to position Odisha as a preferred destination for investment and enterprise through these reforms. Departments were urged to focus on timely and outcome-oriented implementation, leveraging institutional support and inter-departmental coordination.
The initiatives target process re-engineering, system integration, and simplification of regulations to improve ease of compliance and transparency.
In the meeting, Development Commissioner-cum-ACS Deoranjan Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary to Home, Industry and I&PR Hemant Sharma, ACS, Labour and ESI, Science & Technology Department Chithra Arumugum, other Principal Secretaries and Commissioner-cum-Secretaries of different departments were present and participated in the discussion.
