Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will disburse the financial assistance under the Subhadra yojana to 4,57,681 beneficiaries today.
The event will be held at 10 am at the Krushi Shiksha Sadan, in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
According to reports, a total of 1,78,398 new beneficiaries, who turned 21, will receive the first installment. Additionally, 24,018 beneficiaries, who were included after grievance hearing, and 2,55,265 beneficiaries, who were excluded due to technical errors, will also receive the amount. The latter will receive double installments, totaling Rs 10,000.
The government will disburse Rs 250 crore to the beneficiaries.
It is pertinent to mention that the event was initially scheduled for January 18 but was postponed to January 22.
