Bargarh: Barpali police on Saturday raided a roadside eatery near Tingipali Canal Chowk, seizing 76 kg of ganja and arresting eight people in connection with the case.
Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted the raid near Tingipali Canal. During the search, they recovered the contraband from the eatery and immediately took the suspects into custody.
The arrested persons have been taken to Barpali police station, and the seized ganja has been sent for legal and forensic examination.
Further investigation is underway to identify the source of the ganja and other links in the network.
