Jeypore: Marking the third foundation day celebrations of Vikram Dev University, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the university and the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), Jeypore, to foster academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.
The MoU signing ceremony was held on Monday in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of Vikram Dev University, the Registrar, senior faculty members, and Prashant Kumar Parida, Director of the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, Jeypore.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in the areas of academics, joint research initiatives, student exchange programmes, and other mutually agreed activities. It seeks to create a structured framework for identifying potential areas of shared academic and research interest, while also facilitating administrative support for the development of education and research.
As part of the collaboration, both institutions will work towards enabling the exchange of expertise, resources, and best practices, thereby enhancing opportunities for students, researchers, and faculty members. The partnership is expected to contribute significantly to interdisciplinary research and capacity building, particularly in fields of regional and national relevance.
University officials described the MoU as a meaningful step towards strengthening institutional linkages and expanding the academic ecosystem of Vikram Dev University, while representatives of MSSRF highlighted the importance of such collaborations in promoting research-driven solutions and academic excellence.
