Bhubaneswar: A 13-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted at Nimapara area of Puri district.
According to police, the incident occurred when the minor was playing volleyball in his village. Two young men reportedly approached him, lured him to the secluded jungle area, and subjected him to sexual assault.
Following the assault, the accused allegedly abused and used filthy language against the boy’s family members as well. The traumatized boy filed a complaint at Balanga Police Station.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, police launched an immediate operation and arrested both accused.
Further investigation is underway.
