Elderly Person’s Body Found Floating In Irrigation Canal In Kalahandi

Bhubaneswar: An elderly person’s body was found floating in an irrigation canal near Kadoapada village under Koksara block in Kalahandi district on Wednesday.

According to reports, local residents spotted the body floating in the canal and informed the police and fire brigade personnel.

Police subsequently retrieved the body from the canal with the help of fire brigade personnel. However, the identity of the deceased remains unclear.

Meanwhile, police have registered an unnatural death case and sent the body for post-mortem examination at Koksara Health Centre.
