India have clinched the U19 Cricket World Cup title for a record sixth time, beating England by 100 runs in the final of the U-19 World Cup 2026 in Harare, Zimbabwe, last evening.
In a social media post, CM Majhi praised the team’s talent, discipline, and collective determination, stating that they’ve brought immense pride to the nation and inspired young athletes.

The victory marks a historic achievement for Indian cricket, with standout performances from players like Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who scored 175 runs off 80 balls in the final. The team’s success has been lauded by political leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu, as well as cricket legends like Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.
