Bhubaneswar: A woman from Chaukapada village under Komna block in Nuapada district has given birth to quadruplets. The mother and her four babies are currently stable.
According to reports, Bhojaraj Majhi, a resident of Chaukapada, had married Puspa from Chhattisgarh’s Mahasamund district two years ago. This is her first pregnancy. Puspa was at her parental home in Mahasamund when she went into labour yesterday. She was admitted to the maternity ward of Mahasamund district hospital, where doctors performed an emergency C-section and delivered four baby girls.
The newborns are currently being shifted to a hospital in Raipur for further treatment.
