Bhubaneswar: One person was killed and 14 others seriously injured after a tourist bus they were travelling in crashed off a bridge on National Highway 16 at Khantapada area in Balasore.
According to reports, the tourist bus, carrying over 50 passengers, was heading from West Bengal to Andhra Pradesh when the driver, allegedly dozed off, causing the vehicle to crash off the bridge.
The driver fell off the bridge and died on the very spot. The accident has left 14 seriously injured, who are being treated at Khantapada Community Health Centre. The bus hangs precariously on the bridge.
