Bhubaneswar: A State-run OSRTC bus carrying 29 passengers from MV 79 village of Malkangiri to Visakhapatnam met with an accident near Salur bypass in Andhra Pradesh early Monday morning, around 1 am. The steering of the bus reportedly got locked, leading to the mishap.
Seven passengers were seriously injured and were first shifted to Salur hospital before being transferred to Vijayanagaram hospitals for further treatment. Salur police have reached the spot and are investigating the incident.
The injured are receiving medical attention, and authorities are looking into the details of the accident. Further updates are awaited.
