Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has announced that the valuation process for the class X examination answersheets will begin from March 19 and is expected to be completed by April 2.
According to sources, the evaluation will take place at 50 centres across 30 districts, with 47 centres dedicated to valuation of matric answer sheets, two for State Open School Certificate (SOSC), and 1 for Sanskrit Madhyama.
Besides, the board has secretly assigned teams to transport answer sheets from nodal centres to evaluation centres to maintain transparency. The entire process is being carried out with utmost secrecy to ensure fairness.
As per the Board’s decision, examiners and teachers involved in the valuation process are required to report to the evaluation centres from March 18. Each teacher will evaluate 25-30 answer sheets per day. Over 12,000 teachers have been appointed for this valuation process.
District Education Officers have been instructed to appoint four data entry operators at each evaluation centre. Additionally, a chief examiner, two deputy chief examiners, and two scrutinizers have been appointed to oversee the process.
