Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Odisha has been rescheduled.
Originally expected today, Shah will now arrive tomorrow and attend the Foundation Day celebrations of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Mundali in Cuttack.
In the afternoon, he will perform the bhumi pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) for the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Khurda and the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) Bhubaneswar campus. Besides, he will virtually inaugurate the NFSU Transit Campus in Bhubaneswar.
Shah will also inaugurate an exhibition on the new criminal laws (Nyaya Sanhita) and lay foundation stones/inaugurate projects at the IDCO Exhibition Ground, Bhubaneswar.
The Police Commissionerate of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack has issued a traffic advisory for Shah’s visit, and the Godisahi-Munduli Road is being beautified for the event.
