Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed the Odisha Legislative Assembly that 69,532 public grievances are pending beyond the prescribed disposal timeline.

CM’s reply came in response to a query raised by MLA Arvind Mohapatra on the number of public grievances pending beyond the prescribed disposal timeline- particularly those related to land records, service matters and corruption complaints.

Replying to Mohapatra’s query, public grievances pending in the Jana Sunani portal beyond the prescribed disposal timeline are 69,532 including 3,122 land-related, 6,260 service matters, and 211 corruption complaints.

Majhi attributed delays to the complex nature of cases, requiring careful examination and multiple stakeholder involvement.

CM, however, informed the House that authorities are reviewing cases for timely disposal, and proactive measures are being taken to minimize delays.
