Deogarh: A gruesome triple murder has shaken the Gariapali village under Kundeigola police limits in Deogarh district.
As per reports, the accused identified as Ramesh Garia reportedly hacked his wife, daughter-in-law and granddaughter with the help of hammer over unknown reasons. The incident occurred late last night at Ramesh’s residence.
The victims have been identified Ramesh’s wife Kuhul, daughter-in-law Lipi and four-year-old granddaughter Gayatri. Ramesh reported to have fled the scene after committing the crime.
The police suspect Ramesh used a hammer to bludgeon the victims to death before fleeing the scene.
Upon being informed, Kundeigola police have reached the crime scene, seized the blood-stained hammer, and launched a manhunt for Ramesh.
Further investigation is underway to reveal the motive behind the heinous crime.
