Bhubaneswar: A devastating fire broke out following the explosion of four LPG cylinders in a sweets shop at Bantala Square in Angul.

The initial blast triggered intense flames that rapidly spread, engulfing over 10 nearby shops, including grocery stores, clothing outlets, and others. The horrific blaze caused widespread panic in the bustling market area.

Two fire tender units rushed to the scene and are continuing efforts to douse the flames. Brave locals swung into action, rescuing valuable materials from the affected shops and transporting them to safer locations to minimize losses.

No casualties have been reported so far, but property damage is extensive.
