Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Assembly session scheduled for March 16 has been cancelled due to Rajya Sabha elections. Voting for the elections will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on the same day.
According to the Business Advisory Committee meeting held on Friday, the answers to the questions listed for discussion on March 16 will be tabled on March 17 (Tuesday).
The demand grants related to the School and Mass Education and Higher Education departments, part of the 2026-27 budget approved by the House on February 24, will be taken up for discussion and voting on March 20. The Assembly proceedings will now resume on March 17 (Tuesday) at 10:30 am.
