Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha experienced warm daytime conditions on Monday, with interior districts recording temperatures above 35°C, according to the evening weather bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department’s Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar.

Among major urban centres, Bhubaneswar recorded 32.2°C, while Cuttack registered 31.2°C. Coastal areas remained relatively moderate compared to the interior belt, with Puri at 31.6°C and Paradip at 30.9°C.

Night temperatures showed a wider variation across the state. Daringbadi recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 16.0°C, followed by Keonjhar (17.8°C) and Jharsuguda (18.2°C), suggesting comparatively cooler nights in parts of the interior region.

The bulletin also reported scattered rainfall in a few districts during the past 24 hours. Angul recorded the highest rainfall at 18 mm, while Sundargarh received 11.2 mm. Moderate showers were also reported in Jharsuguda (6.2 mm), Rourkela (6.4 mm) and Keonjhar (3.6 mm).

Humidity levels remained high in several stations, especially in coastal and southern districts, contributing to slightly humid conditions despite moderate temperatures in some areas.
