Bhubaneswar: The state government has no scheme to provide 300 units of free electricity to households, informed Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo in the Odisha Legislative Assembly today.

The Deputy CM’s reply came in response to a query raised by Sagar Charan Das who wanted to know whether the state government has initiated implementation to provide 300 units of free electricity to households in Odisha.

According to Minister, the state government is promoting rooftop solar power installation under PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, allowing households to generate up to 300 units of electricity per month.
