Bhubaneswar: Western Odisha’s agricultural feeders received an average daily power supply of 21 hours and 10 minutes during the 2025-26 Rabi season, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo informed the Odisha Legislative Assembly today.
Deputy Chief Minister’s reply came in response to a query raised by MLA Sagar Charan Das who sought feederwise data of daily power supply hours to agricultural feeders in western Odisha districts during the Rabi season of 2025-26.
There are 8 dedicated agricultural feeders in the region which received an average daily power supply of 21 hours and 10 minutes during the 2025-26 Rabi season. Besides, mixed feeders, supplying both agricultural and rural consumers, recorded a higher average daily supply of 23 hours and 25 minutes during the same period, added Singh Deo.
