Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has requested District Collectors to reschedule census training for teachers engaged in HSC exam evaluation to the second or last phase, after April 2, 2026.
In a letter to all the District Collectors, the BSE President emphasized the importance of timely result publication for students’ higher education prospects and requested consideration of his appeal.
This aims to ensure timely publication of Class X results, slated for the second week of May 2026. The evaluation work, involving senior teachers with high academic proficiency, is underway and any disruption may delay result processing.
“The senior teachers of your districts with high academic proficiencies have already been engaged as examiners, are now assigned with census work. If they are relieved in the midst of the manual evaluation work to attend the census training, then the result processing work will be affected severely leading to late publication of the HSC result”, read the letter written by BSE President addressed to all the District Collectors.
It further mentioned: “With this backdrop, you are requested to consider our case and include those teachers already engaged in HSC Answer Book Evaluation Work to take the Census training in the second or last phase, which would be after over of manual evaluation work on 02.04.2026.”
