Bhubaneswar: Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi is set to embark on a three-day visit to Odisha from March 27 to 29.
His itinerary includes stops in Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Gopalpur. Dwivedi is expected to arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport on March 27, followed by an overnight stay at the 120 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army). The next day, he will travel to Puri, where he’ll offer prayers at the Shri Jagannath Temple and halt at Sainik Sadan.
Later on March 28, Dwivedi will head to the Military Station at Gopalpur via Talabania helipad, reviewing training infrastructure and receiving operational briefings. He will also interact with officers and veterans at the Army Air Defence College and witness a live firing demonstration.
Dwivedi’s visit aims to strengthen military ties and boost operational readiness. He will conclude his visit on March 29 and return to New Delhi.
