Cuttack: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has completed an inquiry into the movement of 14 minor boys from Bihar to Odisha and found no irregularities in the process, officials said on Wednesday.
According to RPF sources, the children were brought from Sanyhali and Chandradei villages in Araria district of Bihar by Mohammed Margubur Rehman (41). Rehman runs Madrasa Ameerul Uloom at Sainpara under Salipur police limits in Cuttack district.
The minors were travelling with valid general tickets on Train No. 12510 from Kishanganj to Cuttack. During verification, it was found that all the children had been formally enrolled in the madrasa with proper admission documentation, including Aadhaar cards and consent letters signed by their parents.
Officials said the children were examined and verified by Childline authorities and the Intelligence Bureau. After due scrutiny, the minors were allowed to proceed under the guardianship of Rehman to the madrasa for educational purposes.
During their stay at the railway post, the children were provided with snacks, drinking water, and other basic necessities, which were adequately arranged by the authorities.
No case of trafficking or coercion was detected during the inquiry, officials added.
