Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday described the prestigious ‘President’s Colour Award’ conferred on Odisha Police as a matter of immense pride and honour for the entire state.
“As the Chief Minister and Home Minister of Odisha, I am extremely delighted with this extraordinary achievement of our police force,” Majhi said. He added that the award is a true reflection of the bravery, dedicated public service, and boundless determination shown by the men and women of Odisha Police.
“It is a memorable moment for all of us that Odisha Police has earned this special recognition among the leading police forces of the country,” the Chief Minister remarked.
CM Majhi expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Droupadi Murmu and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for honouring the service and bravery of Odisha Police with this highest award. He congratulated and appreciated every police officer and employee who is working tirelessly day and night to maintain peace and order in the state and ensure public safety.
“This glorious achievement will further boost the morale of our police force and strengthen our resolve towards building a safe and Prosperous Odisha,” the Chief Minister added
