Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh warning for fishermen, advising them not to venture into the sea along and off the North Odisha Coast for three days.
According to the fishermen warning, squally weather with wind speeds reaching 45-55 kmph and gusting up to 65 kmph is very likely to prevail along and off the North Odisha Coast from April 26 to 28. Sea conditions are expected to become rough to very rough during this period. Fishermen have been strictly advised not to venture into the sea along and off the Odisha Coast from April 26 to April 28, 2026 to ensure their safety.
The IMD has urged fishermen and boat operators to take the alert seriously and avoid any sea activity during these days.
