Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), in collaboration with CARE Hospitals, organised a free health camp for its employees at the BDA office in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The initiative was aimed at promoting employee health and well-being through preventive care and routine medical screening. A range of basic health services were provided at the camp, including blood pressure measurement, random blood sugar tests, ECG examinations, and eye screenings.
In addition to diagnostic services, a team of doctors offered free medical consultations and guidance, encouraging employees to adopt healthier lifestyles and monitor their health regularly.
Speaking on the occasion, BDA Vice Chairman Chanchal Rana said the camp was part of a broader effort to prioritise employee welfare. He noted that similar initiatives would be organised in the future to promote preventive healthcare practices among staff.
The medical team from CARE Hospitals included Dr. Bikram Keshari Mohapatra, Dr. Dillip Mohanty, and Dr. Adyasha Nanda. Marketing Head Dr. Lokanath Dash also supported the initiative.
The camp was coordinated by Additional Commissioner (Admin) Snigdha Rani Dhal, ensuring smooth conduct and active participation from BDA employees.
