‘Ama Bus’ In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A man was killed after being run over by an ‘Ama Bus’ near Rasulgarh overbridge in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

According to reports, the Route No. 91 ‘Ama Bus’, operating between Biju Patnaik Park in Cuttack and Baramunda Inter-State Bus Terminal (BSABT) in Bhubaneswar, allegedly hit a two-wheeler rider from behind near Satsang Vihar. The impact caused the man to fall on the road, after which he was run over by the bus. He died on the spot.

Following the incident, Saheed Nagar police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The accident led to a brief traffic disruption in the area.

Local residents gathered at the spot and staged a protest, stopping several ‘Ama Buses’ and demanding strict action against the driver involved.
