Cuttack: The body of a youth was found hanging in his rented house in Baral Lane under Badambadi police station limits in Cuttack on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Amitabh Singh Deo (35), a resident of Gararomita village under Marshaghai police station in Kendrapara district.
According to sources, Amitabh had been living in the rented house in Badambadi for the past six months and was working as a teacher in a nearby private school. Upon being informed, Badambadi police reached the spot, broke open the locked house, and recovered the body before sending the body for post-mortem. However, the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain reason of death.
