Bhubaneswar: Eminent sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik once again mesmerised devotees and tourists by creating a beautiful sand art on the Puri beach to mark the auspicious occasion of Sabitri Brata.
The intricate sculpture, dedicated to married women observing the fast for the longevity and prosperity of their husbands, showcased traditional Odia motifs, including the image of Savitri and Satyavan, along with symbols of devotion, sacred trees, and floral patterns. Patnaik’s artistic expression beautifully captured the essence of faith, love, and marital bliss central to the festival.
On this sacred day, thousands of married women across Odisha observe Sabitri Brata with strict fasting and prayers, seeking blessings for their families. Patnaik’s sand art served as a heartfelt tribute to their devotion.
