Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Department launched simultaneous searches at six properties linked to Bhubaneswar Sabar, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), R&B Division, Bhawanipatna, today on charges of possessing disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income.
Acting on a complaint and search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna, teams comprising six DSPs, eight Inspectors, and other supporting staff are conducting the raids.
- Double-storeyed residential building at Gosanimunda, Bhawanipatana Town.
- Double-storeyed building at his native village Kusumkhunti, Koksara, Kalahandi district.
- Farmhouse at Kitpadar, near Bhawanipatana.
- Under-construction building at Duarsuni, near Bhawanipatana.
- Office premises in Bhawanipatana.
- Government residential quarters at PWD Colony, Bhawanipatana.
Searches are currently underway. Further details regarding the recovery of assets and other findings will be released once the operations conclude.
