Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday extended heartiest congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on being conferred with the prestigious FAO Agricola Medal at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Headquarters in Rome.
In a message shared on social media, CM Majhi described the honour as a proud recognition of Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership and his steadfast commitment towards strengthening food security, empowering farmers, and promoting sustainable agriculture globally.
“Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, India’s agricultural sector has witnessed transformative growth, earning international acclaim and bringing immense pride to every Indian,” the Chief Minister stated.
The FAO Agricola Medal is one of the highest recognitions awarded by the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization for outstanding contributions to agriculture, food security, and rural development.
This honour comes as a significant global acknowledgment of India’s progress in the agriculture sector under PM Modi’s guidance.
