Jharsuguda: A person allegedly attacked his father with an axe leaving the latter seriously injured over domestic dispute at Kudabaga village under Rengali police station limits in Jharsuguda district.
The victim has been identified as Thanda Ram Mallick.
As per reports, Chandacharan assaulted his father during a heated argument. As a result, Thanda Ram sustained a severe injury on his neck. During the same incident, Chandacharan also attacked another villager, Niranjan Bagar, who tried to intervene. Both Thanda Ram and Niranjan were critically injured.
Local residents rushed the injured persons to Lakhanpur Community Health Centre for immediate treatment.
Upon being informed, Rengali Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and launched an investigation into the case.
