Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange warning for parts of Jajpur district, predicting moderate thunderstorm accompanied by lightning, gusty winds, and moderate rainfall within the next three hours.
According to the warning issued at 2:30 pm today, gusty winds reaching speeds of 40-60 kmph are likely along with lightning and moderate rain in Jajpur district. The alert is valid for the next three hours from the time of issuance.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places accordingly.
