Boudh: In a spine-chilling incident reminiscent of ‘Naga Fasa’ described in the Puranas, a paralyzed man remained tightly gripped by a snake for nearly two hours in Adenigarh village under Harbhanga block of Boudh district.
Krushna Chandra Sahu, a resident of Adenigarh village and a paralysis patient whose one side of the body is completely paralyzed, had a terrifying experience late last night. According to reports, Krushna was sleeping inside his house with a window left open. A snake entered the room through the open window and climbed onto his body.
When Krushna realized the presence of the snake, he was unable to get up quickly or raise an alarm due to his physical condition. The snake soon wrapped itself tightly around his hand and the nearby chair, leaving him immobilized. For nearly two hours, Krushna struggled in a life-and-death situation, unable to free himself.
Family members rushed to the spot after hearing his painful cries.
They were left shocked and terrified seeing the snake coiled around him. After prolonged and careful efforts lasting about two hours, the family finally managed to rescue Krushna safely from the snake’s grip. The snake was later caught and released unharmed into the open.
The frightening yet miraculous incident has become the talk of the entire village and surrounding areas. Locals are amazed by Krushna’s survival and the patience shown by the family in rescuing him without harming the snake.
Forest officials have been informed about the incident, and they have advised villagers to remain alert, keep windows closed at night, and take necessary precautions, especially during the rainy season when snake movements increase.
This rare real-life ‘Naga Fasa’ has left everyone in the region stunned.
