Mango Festival-2026

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS), under the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, on Monday inaugurated Mango Festival-2026 at Nandankanan Road, Sishu Vihar, Patia, with the aim of providing direct market access to mango farmers and promoting naturally ripened mangoes.

The festival was inaugurated by Rural Development, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the initiative would strengthen the connection between farmers and consumers while enhancing the popularity of Odisha’s diverse mango varieties.

The festival is being organised at four locations across Bhubaneswar—Sishu Vihar, Patia; in front of the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD); Sahid Nagar Durga Mandap; and near Madhusudan Das Park, Pokhariput. Similar festivals are also being held in 18 districts, including Angul, Balangir, Balasore and Sundargarh.
