Bhubaneswar: Dinabandhu Majhi, the elder brother of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, passed away due to cardiac arrest on Wednesday.
According to reports, Dinabandhu Majhi suddenly experienced severe chest pain and was immediately rushed to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar by family members. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
The news has come as a shock to the Chief Minister’s family at a time when CM Majhi is scheduled to attend the inaugural session of the BRICS Disaster Risk Reduction Meeting in Puri as the Chief Guest.
Dinabandhu used to reside in the government residential quarter located at Lower PMG in Bhubaneswar. At present, his mortal remains are kept there.
